This was our family's first time at Kobe. We had went to Osaka in the past. Not that Osaka is bad by any means because we have never had a bad experience there. Kobe, felt like a little step above. The real reason why was the hard take on making sure that our oldest son could eat with an egg allergy. The staff made it very clear that allergens would be VERY accommodated by the restaurant. I use all caps for VERY because they stressed it multiple times. The staff is friendly, the ambience is a little loud but that is what you would expect from a Hibachi restaurant. The food, especially the fried rice, I recommend the $4 upgrade, it's delicious! We, a party of 5, sat with a party of 3 and the chef made sure that it was fun among both families by catching food in our mouths with thunderous applause upon success. Good times for all!

First time here in a very long time. Like 20 years. We had the best time. The chef was funny and the food was delicious. The server was super nice and took care of us all for my birthday. $10 for kids is a deal for all the food they got. My steak was tender and cooked perfectly. I can't wait to come back here again.

Party of 7 booked for 8pm. We got there at 755pm and were immediately seated. Really great place all friendly competent personnel. Our waitress was very friendly, personable, and professional. All our orders were exactly correct and our chef was very efficient, entertaining, and knowledgeable. The food was totally outstanding and extremely delicious. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back again. The entire restaurant was exceptionally clean which is always a giant plus. Great food, great staff, and very clean, definitely a 5 star restaurant.

Food is high quality and always consistently good. The chef makes the experience fun. Sign up for the rewards as they send you a $20 coupon for your birthday as well as other stuff. They cook to order as my wife has a butter intolerance. We love the volcano drink which is good for 2 people. Plan early as you need a reservation.

Kobe has always been a go to for birthdays and celebrations for us because of the fun atmosphere. It's dinner and a show. It's beyond that the food is delicious. I learned on my recent visit that they use Omaha Steaks for the steaks on their menu. I always get the combo with chicken, shrimp and steak with fried rice. It's so much food, I always have leftovers. Another part of Kobe that I enjoy is the great bar area. The last couple of times I've been it has not been crowded which surprises me. While sitting around the hibachi table it's hard to talk to everyone in the group but getting a drink at the bar before or after allows for more socializing.

Kobe ALWAYS hits the spot. It's not a cheap meal, but it is truly a dinner and a show (and, most likely, leftovers!) The soup and salad starters always hit the spot, and the main meals are cooked to perfection. Our server and chef were funny and attentive and made for a great experience. Don't chicken out on catching the shrimp in your mouth at the end :)

Kobe was so fun! It was one of those experiences that you think back and say to yourself " I'd do it again." A group of friends went together to celebrate a birthday. The host let us know that everyone on the party needed to be present to be situated which makes sense for this type of restaurant. The chef or the person cooking the food ( I am not sure what they called themselves) was so friendly and funny and it was an awesome experience. Be ready to laugh, have a good time and catch food with you mouth!

You could just eat here, but for the prices it's more like a special night out. Enjoy the show and plan a party of people. You can have 10 at a station or reserve two connected stations. Whatever you do, don't be a bozo; make a reservation! And if you get in their email list they'll send you coupons every now and again. The food is good but what you're paying for is the show. This is a large, flat hibachi cook top. The cook will make jokes, entertain you with skills, and flip shrimp into your mouth. You will have a separate server to bring you drinks, your traditional Japanese starter soup and salad, and coordinate the "Banzai" birthday (for an extra $6 included the gong ringing, photo, and cheesecake dessert (yes this use to be free, but not any more)). Note: This isn't a place you sit and talk with your loved ones. This is a place for showmanship. Kobe is loud as all the chefs are doing their own thing and families who are in their "down time" - between the show and paying the bill - are yelling across the hibachi to be heard, plus the special occasion gong (which happens at least once at each time). Other than that, the food is good and we go annually for my younger son's birthday. "Banzai!"
